UW Hiring Processes: Introduction to UWHIRES (Q1050)

Hiring staff at the University of Washington is a unique experience. For classified and professional staff employment programs, the recruitment process is administered through UWHIRES—the online Applicant Tracking system of the UW. If you are new to hiring staff, supporting the process of hiring, or just want to better understand UWHIRES, this class provides interactive training. Participants learn how to enter a requisition into the UWHIRES system to initiate the hiring process. Reference materials and practice entry provide live experience on creating new requisitions in UWHIRES. This course only addresses staff hiring processes for classified and professional staff positions.

NOTE: This class will be held at Odegaard Undergraduate Library (OUGL) classroom 102.

This course is part of the HR Administration Certificate.
