Discovering Your Dependable Strengths (Q0910)

Live online sessions

Class content will be delivered via live Zoom session(s) with supplemental materials.

Description:

Discovering your strengths is the first step to finding a career that maximizes opportunities for success and satisfaction, and at the same time minimizes stress. In this workshop, participants use the Dependable Strengths Articulation Process™ to uncover what they do best and learn new ways to use their unique excellence. Dependable Strengths™ are motivated skills that are used repeatedly in experiences in which you have done well and enjoyed what you were doing. The more you know about your strengths, the more you understand how to adapt to the changing demands of the workforce. Through guided discussions, small group work, and written exercises, participants identify good experiences, assess their own strengths, and learn how to articulate their worth and succeed in interviews and performance evaluations. In addition, participants learn how to combine their strengths in career activities that are likely to lead to future achievements regardless of job titles or job descriptions.   NOTE: Completion of a biographical questionnaire is required before the first class session. The questionnaire takes about two to four hours to complete and serves as the foundation for many of the class exercises. Participants will be contacted via email approximately one week prior to class with directions for completing class pre-work.
