Leadership Style Makes a Difference (Q0640)

Some people seem to have a “magic touch” that enables them to get things done AND build strong relationships in the process. They appear to communicate effectively with everyone, inspiring others to follow them. This isn’t magic; these skills can be developed. Participants in this course learn to understand more about individuals’ unique communication styles, read and respond to communication signals in their interactions, explore how communication style can help or hinder leadership, gain the keys to a successful leadership style, and practice ways to use successful style to increase leadership effectiveness.

NOTE: This course offers a recap of the POD course Communication Style: Creating Positive Relationships and Results, and uses that content as a springboard, focusing on its application to leadership. Prior attendance in Communication Style is not required. Course fee includes a copy of the Success Signals book.

This course is part of the Supervisory Skills Certificate.
