Learning to Lead (Q0200)

Most supervisors would prefer to be known as great leaders rather than excellent supervisors. In this course, participants discover their own leadership potential through group discussion, thought-provoking exercises, and a helpful text (included in course fee); learn to understand the sources of leadership power, the primary ways to handle resistance to change, and the difference between supervisors and leader/supervisors; and gain skill in building relationships based on trust, developing and communicating a team or organizational vision, and motivating employees with positive reinforcement.

NOTE: Course fee includes a copy of Crisp: Learning to Lead, Revised Edition: An Action Plan for Success by Martha Chapman.

This course is part of the Supervisory Skills Certificate.
