e-Learning certificates are comprised solely of SkillSoft e-Learning (online) courses designed to help focus your career goals in a particular area. The following e-Learning certificates are available through Professional & Organizational Development (POD):

• Administrative Support
• Customer Service
• Enhanced Productivity
• High Performance Teams
• Project Management

Enroll: To earn an e-Learning certificate, you must be enrolled in the POD Certificate Program. Your enrollment allows us to notify you of program changes or upcoming classes that may help fulfill your certificate requirements. To get started, complete this form: Enroll in the Certificate Program

In addition, you must create an account in the SkillSoft e-Learning program. Once you create an account, you will have unlimited access to all courses in the SkillSoft e-Learning catalog. Click here for detailed information on the SkillSoft e-Learning program.

Develop a Training Action Plan: The Training Action Plan is an optional tool for identifying your professional objectives.

Curriculum Guides: To help track your progress, a Curriculum Guide has been designed for each e-Learning Certificate. See individual certificate descriptions for this list of course requirements.

Completing an e-Learning Certificate: All requirements must be fulfilled within five years. Upon completion, contact POD for a training history review. If you've satisfied all requirements, POD will present you with a letter and formal certificate. (You will be contacted if you have not completed all requirements.)

When notifying POD, include the following information:

• your full name
• e-Learning User ID (this is the "name" you use to log in to SkillSoft e-Learning)
• campus box #
• phone number
• the e-Learning certificate you have completed

Please Note:

• POD does not allow certificate candidates to challenge courses or receive credit for skills already developed through life or work experience.
• POD does not award certificates for individual courses or for partial completion of certificate requirements.
• Courses completed more than five years ago must be taken again in order to count toward your certificate.
