V0214: Career Transition Workshop: Resume Review

Description:

This session provides a chance to receive feedback on your resume from a human resources professional. Through a one-on-one, 20-minute review of your resume, you'll find out how your resume does in the 30-second scan test and get tips on how to target it for improved results. Among the items discussed will be formatting, content, suggestions for keywords and action verbs, and advice on do's and don'ts.

NOTE: The May 22nd section will be the last offering of the V0214: Resume Review workshop. Thereafter, resume review services for employees who have received notice of layoff or who have attended at least one Career Transition workshop will be offered at the Career Transition Resource Center, 086 Mary Gates Hall. No appointment is necessary.

Career Transition Resource Center Hours of Operation:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday: 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Prerequisite:

Attendance at the Resume and Cover Letter Writing workshop.
