SLPQU: Strategic Leadership Program

Description:

Supervisors play a critical role in making the University of Washington a great place to learn, grow and work. In order to succeed in this role, however, they require specific knowledge, skills and tools. The goal of the Strategic Leadership Program (SLP) is to develop the core competencies supervisors need to be effective at managing themselves, their staff, their teams and their organizations.

SLP is a four-day training designed for new supervisors at UW. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of their role, a framework for creating exceptional performance in their staff and increased mastery navigating the larger UW system.

SLP Participants are also encouraged to register for SLP HR Basics.
