Compensation

Compensation Office partners with Human Resources Operations units and UW/Medical Centers Administration to develop and administer compensation and classification programs that help the UW attract, retain, and motivate our workforce.

Compensation is responsible for:

Providing compensation and classification expertise.
Administering staff compensation programs.
Developing compensation strategies.
Providing leadership on regulatory matters relating to overtime pay.
Partnering with Labor Relations to analyze compensation and classification issues for employees covered by union contracts.
Advocating to Washington State Department of Personnel in Olympia for compensation and classification needs for classified non-union jobs.
Providing training on compensation and classification related topics.
