About National Work & Family Month

Welcome to the UW’s National Work and Family Month website. Discover the diverse array of programs and events offered to UW faculty and staff that focus on different stages of life, healthy lifestyles, and creating a quality work environment. The UW strives to build a work culture that recognizes and supports the diversity of employees’ lives. “Wherever you are in life …We’re here to help”

National Work and Family Month, established by the passing of U.S. Senate Resolution 210 in 2003, recognizes the important role work-life programs play in creating a work culture that attracts, motivates, and retains skilled and talented employees.
