Caregiver Directories

Welcome to the UW Caregiver Directories, a free service provided by Benefits & WorkLife to University of Washington faculty, staff, and students.

The Caregiver Directories are comprised of two pools of UW-affiliated individuals: those who are seeking caregiving employment (on a full-time, part-time, short-term, or intermittent basis) and those who are looking for caregivers. Caregiver duties range from caring for a child, elder or adult dependent, to running errands and light housekeeping.

The Caregiver Directory is accessible only to individuals with a UWNetID. First names only are posted. Outdated listings will be purged automatically after six months.

Hiring a Caregiver

As the employer, you contact the caregiver directly. Arrangements concerning compensation and all other aspects of employment are made solely by you (the employer) and the caregiver. You are encouraged to conduct reference checks as well as interview the caregiver prior to offering employment.
