Stress-Reducing Activities

Need to release a little stress? The Resource Center at Harborview offers a healing and supportive environment to help you beat the blues and release tension through support groups like these:

The Whole U

Immerse yourself in mindfulness, stress reduction, body awareness, and inner self care through The Whole U events. The Whole U fosters community, shares ways to stay healthy, and promotes the great benefits and services available to UW faculty and staff.

Knit and Crochet for Wellness

Join this free support group at Harborview Medical Center and learn how to knit and crochet for stress relief, health, and fun. Bring your own needles and yarn, or borrow some from the group. Meets on the second, third, and four Tuesdays of each month from noon to 1 p.m. in the Harborview Resource Center, Ground Center Tower room 76. For information, call 206-744-2000.

Laughter Therapy
