Quick Reference—System Requirements

Windows Systems

Internet Browser that supports Secure Socket Layers (Recommended browsers are: Internet Explorer 4.x and greater, or Netscape 4.17 or greater
• In order to view and print reports you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. You can obtain a free copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader from www.adobe.com.
• A "gateway" to the Internet (You must have access out of any "firewalls" your company has placed.)
• 800x600 (or greater) screen resolution recommended
• use the latest version of Java Virtual Machine (available by clicking here).

MacIntosh Systems
( JP Morgan Chase does not support MacIntosh Systems)

MacIntosh systems have trouble performing queries. In addition to the above, Mac users should:
• always use a Netscape browser or the latest version of Apple's Safari web browser.
• use a newer Mac operating system such as OS 7.x, 8.x and 9.x. These have been tested to work with the PaymentNet Query Wizard. (OS 10 provides a way to flip back and forth between OS10.x and OS 9.x)
• use the Netscape browser or Safari web browser designed for OS 9.x (and prior)
• use the latest version of Java Virtual Machine (available by clicking here)
