UW CareLink
UW CareLink offers a wide range of services that can help you manage through the different stages of life, develop a healthy lifestyle, create a quality work environment, and save time by providing easy access to trusted experts, including counselors, attorneys, financial advisors, and child and adult/elder care consultants. This is a free resource provided to all benefits eligible faculty and staff, their dependents and household members.
Childcare
Securing quality childcare is important to every parent. The University of Washington has four on-site childcare centers and provides referral resources for those seeking long and short term childcare arrangements.
Sick Childcare
If your child is mildly ill, you have access to sick child care through Tender Loving Care at Virginia Mason Medical Center.
This program is a free service available to all Academic student employees and benefits-eligible faculty and staff working at least 50% FTE.
Caregiver Directory
The Caregiver Directory, is a free service provided by the Graduate and Professional Student Senate for University of Washington faculty, staff, and students. It provides a means to connect potential caregivers and employers for childcare, elder or adult care, or to run errands or do light housekeeping
