Rider Updates

  • August 14, 2008
    There will be no Health Sciences Express commodity deliveries and pick ups before approx. 9:00 a.m. on August 18, while the commodity location is moved to Harborview Hall. Please check back, or call 206.685.3146 for updates.

  • August 12, 2008
    Effective Monday, August 18, 2008, Health Sciences Express will pick up and drop off passengers at the new Harborview Metro bus stop located on the east side of 9th Avenue. The commodity box will also be moved from its current location to the Harborview Hall lobby.

  • August 8, 2008
    Effective Monday, August 11, 2008, the UW South Lake Union Shuttle route connecting the Republican Street stop and Harborview will operate with a new schedule. This schedule has been posted online. Passengers should note that the shuttle will no longer stop at Met Park en route from Harborview Medical Center to Republican.
    At Harborview, the shuttle will stop on the east side of 9th Avenue at the Metro bus stop. New printed schedules will be available in the next few weeks. In the meantime passengers are encouraged to print the online schedule. There are no changes to the route between UWMC and the Republican Street stop.

  • June 20, 2008
    Starting July 1, 2008, South Lake Union Shuttle will add three new stops to the current schedule; Met Park, Harborview, and the Benaroya Research Institute. The new schedule will be posted on the South Lake Union Shuttle website on June 23.

  • June 12, 2008
    Today is the last day for the NightRide service. NightRide will start again on September 24. Schedules will be available at all transportation kiosks, or you can drop by the Transportation Services office on Boat Street.

  • May 30, 2008
    Starting Monday, June 2, the Republican stop will be located halfway between 8th and 9th Ave N on Republican St. A schedule has been posted on the new shelter.

  • May 27, 2008
    Health Sciences Express, Chi Psi Fraternity and The Daily team up for the successful Stuff the Bus event. A total of 8049 lbs of food was collected for Food Lifeline.

  • March 25, 2008
    Starting March 31, 2008, Health Sciences Express will operate with a new schedule. New schedules will be available in all Health Sciences Express Buses, and at UWMC, UW Tower, Roosevelt Clinic, and HMC information kiosks.
