Established in 1978, Dial-a-Ride (Disabled Persons Shuttle) is a free shuttle service available to University of Washington students, faculty, staff, and University-sponsored conference attendees with permanent or temporary disabilities that limit mobility. Transportation is only available between designated locations at University facilities located on campus and in the University District.

All our Dial-a-Ride vans are equipped with wheelchair lifts.

For service eligibility information, students should contact the Disability Resources for Students Office at 206.543.8924. Faculty and staff should contact the Disability Services Office at 206.543.6450.

Dial-a-Ride brochures are available at any Commuter Center on campus.

Passengers are encouraged to schedule rides by noon for next-day service. Same-day bookings will be limited to availability.

Rides are provided free of charge and scheduled based on the order requests are received.
