Keymapping Issues

Keynes requires special keyboard instructions to function properly. These instructions come with the secure telnet programs in the UWICK.

The most common problems from missing or incorrect keyboard instructions include the "Send" key not working, and the "Home" key displaying garbage characters.

Keymapping problems can be fixed by re-installing secure telnet software. You can find software for Windows and Macintosh computers in the UWICK Contents listing.

Correct Window Display

Keynes requires that Better Telnet use a window size of 80 by 24 letters. If the window is resized, it may not display information correctly, or parts of the Keynes screen may be hidden.

Display problems can be fixed by resetting the screen display:
