Leasing and Other Real Property Transactions

1.   Policy

All real estate transactions shall be conducted by or under the direction of the Real Estate Office, and with the approval of the Office of Planning and Budgeting in order to:

  • Comply with City-University agreements and the University of Washington Master Plan,

  • Comply with applicable state law regarding public processes and private use of public facilities,

  • Protect against risk and liability,

  • Achieve competitive business terms, and

  • Ensure adequate funding.
