Urban Horticulture Center 8-Y
General: The Center for Urban Horticulture consists of a complex of buildings including the Douglas Research Conservatory, Isaacson Hall, and NW Horticultural Society Hall. The Center buildings house research offices and laboratories for the Department of Urban Horticulture as well as meeting rooms and the Urban Horticulture library.
Parking: The Center has wheelchair and disability parking stalls in lot E16
Dial-A-Ride: Stop #110 is located adjacent the Northwest Horticulture Society Hall in parking lot E16.
Entrances: Douglas R C: Entrance #1 has a slight grade, a 32"+ doorway, automatic door.
Isaacson Hall: Entrance #1 has a level approach, a 33" doorway with a 2" threshold, and a pull handle.
NW Horticultural Society Hall: Entrances #1 has an automatic operator with paddle controls.
Merrill Hall: Entrance #1 to main level has a pair of 33" automatic doors with paddle control.
Entrance #2 to main level has a 37" door with a card reader and pull handle.
Entrance #3 to lower level has a ramp and a 37" automatic door with paddle control.
Elevator(s): Elevator serves all levels of Merrill Hall, highest button 43", Braille markers.
Restrooms: Most accessible restrooms for men and women are located in Douglas 1st floor and on both floors of Merrill Hall.
