Communications Building 8-N
General: The Communications Building (College of Arts & Sciences) houses: Dean of Arts & Sciences administrative offices, The Graduate School administrative offices, Departmental offices and faculty, staff and student offices for the Department of Communication, Center for Humanities, Math Sciences Computing and Tutoring Centers, Summer Arts Festival administrative offices. Also housed in this building are classrooms, the student newspaper (The Daily) and major campus copy center.
Parking: Lot N22 is closest and has wheelchair and disability parking.
There is wheelchair parking and disability parking on Skagit Lane.
Dial-A-Ride: Stop #28 (for wheelchair users) and #35 are located in Parking Lot N22 at Communications Building.
Stop #18 is located on Skagit Lane at Music Building.
Entrances: Entrance #5 has a level approach and a 34" doorway. There are stairs inside entrance. See also elevator text.
Entrance #7 has a level approach, a 32"+ doorway, and an automatic door with paddle controls. The inside vestibule has a ramp and heavy manual doors with lever handles and automatic door with paddle.
The building is also accessible from the ground floor of Thomson Hall.

Restrooms: Most accessible men's and women's restrooms are located on the ground level midway between building entrances.
