Center on Human Development and Disability Clinic 18-L

General: The Center on Human Development and Disability (Health Sciences) consists of three buildings and houses faculty, clinical and staff offices; research laboratories and clinics. The Virginia Merrill Research Center is located in the Clinic Building. This page applies to the "Clinic" building.

Parking: Lot S9 is closest with disability parking and wheelchair parking.

Lot S1 has disability parking stalls and wheelchair parking stalls.

Dial-A-Ride: Stop #83 is located on Columbia Road at the Clinic entrance #1.

Stop #75 is located at the receiving area at the Clinic entrance #2.

Entrances: Entrance #1 has a ramp, 33.5" exterior and vestibule doorways, and automatic doors with paddle controls.

Entrance #2 has a level approach, a pair of 36" doors, and a pull handle.

Entrance #3 has a level approach, a pair of 36" doors, and pull handles.

Entrance #6 has a level approach, a 35" doorway, and a pull handle.

Entrance #10 has a level approach, a 33" doorway, and an automatic door with paddle controls.

Elevator(s): Elevators #141 & #142 at north end. Highest button 64", serves floors 1 through 4, Braille markers.

Elevators #143 & #144 at south end. Highest button 64", serves floors basement through 4, Braille markers.

Restrooms: Most accessible restrooms are located at the south end of the building near elevators.

Fountain: Floors 1, 2, and 3, spout heights 44"- 45.5".

Telephone: Pay phone available on 1st floor, height to coin slot 62". No campus phone.
