Aerodynamics Laboratory 11-N
General: The Aerodynamics Lab is the original wind tunnel funded by William E. Boeing and built in 1917 to test various Boeing Co. aircraft designs.Parking: Lot C17 east and south of Kirsten Wind Tunnel is closest and has wheelchair and disability parking.
Dial-A-Ride: Stop #49 is located in the service drive at Guggenheim Hall.
Entrances: Entrance #3 has a ramped approach from Lot C17 and a 36" doorway with lever handle. There is a stair immediately inside the entrance leading down to the equipment floor.
Elevator(s): There is no permanent elevator. Access to the equipment floor is via portable wheelchair lift acquired on as-needed basis. Arrangements should be made ahead of your visit to use the lift.
Restrooms: This building has no restrooms. The nearest wheelchair accessible restrooms are in Guggenheim Hall and Kirsten Wind Tunnel.
