Reappointment Details
- The reappointment decision must be made each year, six months (or in the case of an initial annual appointment, three months) before the appropriate expiration date
- Acting appointments are for one year or less, limited to 4 years in any one rank, or 6 years maximum in combination of acting titles
Separation Details
- Emeritus Eligibility: No
- The unit should attempt to obtain such a letter with a statement from the faculty member indicating the name and address of next employer
- Separation action needs to be entered in OPUS
