The University of Washington invites applicants for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor, without tenure (physician/scientist pathway, M.D.), or Research Assistant/Associate Professor (Ph.D.), in the Division of Medical Genetics, Department of Medicine. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent, externally funded research program related to the genetic/genomic basis of human disease. Candidates with a strong research background involving the identification and characterization of disease genes, or the application of genetic/genomic information toward the diagnosis or treatment of human disease, are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have opportunities to collaborate with other outstanding members of the faculty, and will have access to state-of-the-art research facilities and clinical research programs.
