Position Details


The Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences (I-LABS), an interdisciplinary research unit at the University of Washington, is searching for an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in the area of Developmental Neuropsychology of Language. We seek an individual with research expertise and interests in the measurement of child language using Event-related Potentials (ERPs) or Magnetoencephalography (MEG), to complement existing behavioral research on language development in this interdisciplinary setting. Appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level may be considered for candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to mentoring underrepresented students in the sciences. Ph.D. required. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. Faculty responsibilities are expected to begin September 16, 2008.
