The University of Washington School of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology at Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center is currently seeking an academic pediatric anesthesiologist with experience in both inpatient and outpatient pain management to lead a interdisciplinary team of providers in pain medicine. Academic rank at Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and compensation are dependent on qualifications and experience. A minimum of one year completed fellowship training in pediatric anesthesia or equivalent experience required. Must be BC/BE in Anesthesiology (BC/BE in pain management preferred) and be able to obtain Washington state medical license. Will teach residents, fellows and medical students. Faculty engage in teaching, research and service. The Pain Medicine Program is an interdisciplinary program that works with rehabilitative medicine physicians and nurses, psychologists, physical and occupational therapists and psychiatrists. The ambulatory program is rapidly expanding to fill the needs of the Seattle community and WAMI (Washington, Alaska, Montana, Idaho) region.
