Post Doctoral Research Associate Opening
The Michael G. Foster School of the University of Washington is seeking an outstanding individual to fill a full-time, non-tenure track, post-doctoral research associate position in the area of service operations management. Starting time is expected to be September 1, 2009 but flexible. It is a one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal.
The post-doc research associate will be asked to conduct research with Foster school faculty in the field of service operations management, with a focus on the study of service quality. The successful candidate must possess a record that demonstrates their research potential. Doctoral students close to completion are encouraged to apply but they must hold a Ph.D degree in Operations Management or a related field by the starting date. The successful candidate must possess strong skills in mathematical modeling of stochastic systems or field and empirical research. The ability to do both is strongly desirable.
