Applications are invited for a postdoctoral Research Associate position at the University of Washington starting no later than September 1, 2008. Successful candidates will lead both software and scientific efforts in support of a large HST Archival Legacy program to analyze resolved stellar populations in all galaxies within 5 Mpc. Applicants should have experience with crowded field stellar photometry, preferably using HST (ACS and/or WFPC2). Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in managing
large data volumes. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Astronomy, Physics, or a closely related field. The successful applicant will be encouraged to design their own scientific progam using the Archival Legacy data set.
