Position Details


The University of Washington School of Law invites applications from outstanding faculty candidates, both lateral and entry level, for full-time assistant, associate professor, and full professor faculty positions.  While UW Law invites applications in any field, anticipated areas of focus this year include a faculty director of our renowned Asian Law Center (area of substantive law expertise flexible), and faculty members with expertise in the areas of taxation, torts, and civil procedure.  UW Law is interested in applicants who possess superior academic credentials, demonstrate excellence in scholarship and teaching, are committed to institutional and community service, and who share a passion for the school’s mission as a leader for the global common good.  University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.

Founded in 1899, the University of Washington School of Law is one of the nation’s top public law schools and also enjoys strong private support for its outstanding JD program as well as leading programs in Asian Law; Health/Global Health; Law, Technology, and Arts; Business/Taxation; and Environmental Law.  Located in William H.
