The Department of Political Science at the University of Washington is seeking applications from well-qualified candidates for a full-time (100%) tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in American politics. The position is open with respect of sub-field specialization, but we are particularly interested in candidates doing methodologically sophisticated research which contributes to existing strengths in the department, including institutions and policy processes, public opinion and political communication, and racial and ethnic politics. Candidates should have their Ph.D. prior to the appointment start date or be ABD. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service.
