Tenure Track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Statistics
beginning September 2009. All statistical areas will be considered. Ph.D.
in Statistics or related field required by date of appointment. University
of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. Duties of
this full-time appointment include research, service, and undergraduate and
graduate teaching in statistics. In exceptional circumstances, appointment
at the tenured Associate Professor or Professor level may be considered for
candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to mentoring underrepresented
students in the sciences. The deadline for applying is January 15, 2009.

the position is filled. This position is contingent upon budgetary
approval.
