The University of Washington Bothell seeks two full-time University Lecturers to teach mathematics or math/science education, primarily to first and second year students in our growing and innovative curriculum. A Master’s level degree in mathematics or related areas and one year of teaching experience is required (with at least two years strongly preferred). The first position, for a mathematics Lecturer, is a one-year lectureship and the second position, for a Senior Lecturer in math/science education, is for a three-year term. Both positions come with the possibility of renewal. Education Program candidates must have P-12 teaching experience.
The successful candidates will provide dynamic, engaged, and inquiry-based teaching oriented primarily toward lower division students. All faculty at the University of Washington engage in teaching, research, and service. The positions are for non-tenured nine month academic year appointments and will be administratively based in the appropriate Academic Program.
