The Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Washington is seeking applications for either a full-time academic (tenure) track faculty appointment at the assistant professor or associate professor level, or a full-time clinician-teacher pathway track faculty appointment at the clinical assistant professor or clinical associate professor level salaried with multiple year terms. The position is available on or before July 1, 2008. Responsibilities include didactic and laboratory course leadership in Operative Dentistry and clinical supervision in the broader area of Restorative Dentistry. Applicants must have a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree from an accredited institution, advanced training in Operative Dentistry or equivalent education, and licensure or the ability to become licensed in Washington State. Independent research and scholarly activities are expected. Opportunity for intra- or extramural practice is available. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications.
