The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington is seeking to hire a PhD level Research Assistant or Associate Professor. Position may be full or part-time. Candidate must have begun to demonstrate early accomplishment in adolescent health research with evidence of excellence in scholarship and strong potential for obtaining independent grant support.
Responsibilities include participation in on-going research original research efforts, and developing new projects in collaboration with other adolescent medicine researchers in the Section, as well as teaching and mentoring of adolescent medicine fellows. The University of Washington Department of Pediatrics and the Section of Adolescent Medicine encourages interdisciplinary collaboration in research and have a number of independent available opportunities for advancement as an independent researcher. All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. This position is open until filled.
