Applications are invited for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Washington, to begin in September 2007. Applicants are required to have a PhD, and an established research record in mathematics. Duties include undergraduate and graduate teaching and independent research. In exceptional circumstances, appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level may be considered for candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to mentoring underrepresented students in the sciences.
Priority will be given to applicants whose complete applications, including recommendations, are received by November 15, 2006.
