Summer Academy Student Projects
The Summer Academy for Advancing Deaf & Hard of Hearing in Computing offers each student an opportunity to complete an animation short, as a member of a team. At the end of the Summer Academy, each student receives a certificate of completion.
The following are examples of animation shorts completed by 2007 and 2008 Summer Academy students in the Animation class. These four videos demonstrate the Summer Academy students' creativity, ingenuity, and skill in story telling. Each video tells a unique story that illustrates a little life lesson in a humorous way, while displaying what the students have learned about animation.
